Top Toy Storage Ideas (just in time for Santa!)
The countdown is well underway! Presents have been bought and possibly even wrapped, but are you ready to deal with the aftermath?
Did you give thought to where all the new goodies will go or do you subscribe to the “I’ll deal with it later” approach?
Don’t worry if you don’t have it all figured out. Most people are so consumed with filling the tree with gifts the question of “what do I do with all this stuff?” doesn’t typically enter the equation until well after December 26th.
Obviously, purging old toys and games tops my list of ways to create space, however sometimes that’s just not enough. Below are a few of my favorite storage solutions to corral all those toys, books and games.
1. Pehr Striped Canvas Bin available at See Jane Work
Why I love it:
- This stylish bin is great for storing anything from stuffed animals to blankets
- Available in various colors.
- It’s versatile; and can easily be repurposed throughout the house.
(You can order this or any other seejanework products directly from my website by clicking the link in the sidebar-it’s that easy!)
2. Lego Storage Brick from The Container Store
Why I love it:
- Vibrant colors make it fun and easy for kids to pick up Lego pieces.
- Available in various sizes to accommodate any space.
- They bring style and color to a playroom or bedroom.
3. You say Coffee, I say Play Table from Land of Nod
Why I love it:
- Deep drawers hold a variety of items ranging from arts and crafts to blankets.
- If your family room doubles as play room, this is a great storage solution to hide toys out of site when guests arrive.
- Sturdy enough to withstand daily use and no more worrying about sharp corners!
Finish 2013 strong without adding additional clutter to your home. Just because your house may be overrun with toys doesn’t mean it has to look that way. Allow your kids to easily find their toys while making clean up a snap.
Happy Organizing!
