Ep 080: Generational Differences with Special Guest, Kim Huggins
Today we are joined by my friend and author, Kim Huggins, who has spent the last two decades studying generational differences in the workplace. Her book, GENerate Performance: Unleashing the Power of a Multigenerational Workforce is filled with great insights into understanding how to best communicate with people from various generations whether at home or at work.
We talk about the 5 generations in todays society:
1. TRADITIONALISTS
2. BABY BOOMERS
3. GEN X
4. GEN Y (aka: MILLENIALS)
5. GEN Z
Kim shares with us how to tailor your communication using what she calls “the 3 C’s” CONNECTION > COMMUNICATION > CHANGE
