Meet the SBO Team
I’m Laurie Palau, founder of simply B organized. Mom, wife, entrepreneur, & coffee lover.
Most days you can find me working with my hair in a messy bun on top of my head, wearing a pair of worn jeans and chucks. I am all about living simply and building community.
If you follow personality types, I’m an ENTJ, an Upholder, and an Enneagram 8 so leadership & strategy are my jam.
I am less concerned with what bins you have in your pantry, (although I do love a pinterest pantry), and more interested in helping you to reduce clutter and reclaim time in your day.
I host a weekly podcast, This ORGANIZED Life, and wrote a book, HOT MESS: A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO GETTING ORGANIZED. Think of them as survival guides for anyone who has felt overwhelmed and needs some simple strategies to get on track.
I am equally passionate about building relationships & empowering others.
I have been blessed to have been able to turn my passion into a profession and now it’s my turn to help others do the same.If you are a professional organizer (or thinking about becoming one), we offer a suite of services to help you grow your business. Erika, a former nurse, is no stranger to helping others. After taking some time off to raise her two children she joined the SBO team in 2011, and has been helping clients regain control of their homes by creating organized spaces for them to live and enjoy. Clients love Erika, because she is the “good cop” in the relationship! Her most favorite job is co-hosting This ORGANIZED Life podcast.
Oh and she jumps at any chance to tell someone that she “works for an author”
Courtney is our social media maven and mom to 2 feisty kids. Courtney helps to run our SBO Partner Program and social communities. Courtney loves going to concerts, cobb salads and flavored seltzer. If you buy her a drink, she will tell you all about baking a cake with Martha Stewart.
She absolutely loves being part of the SBO team!
Jennie is our virtual assistant and digital marketing expert! She helps with our email marketing, sales funnels, and online course creation. Jennie loves walking her Frenchie and Pug to the ocean, paddleboarding, and Good n’ Plenty candies! Her main goal is to help busy entrepreneurs build their brands and regain control of their time (and of course, she LOVES being a part of the SBO team!)
